Bubbles in undercuttent

Here I be , hanging on for dear life, my life . The very life I have taken for granted , for I am precocious enough to know that it can be snapped up at any given time and all  those things that only happen to others have long ago wormed there way into my existence in one form or other . Leaving behind a jaded stain on my once bubbly outlook . Not that I am always a Debbie downer , I’m just not really sure how to get back to my happy place , I have given my power to you . Hence the dilemma  I find myself in , I must stay strong , I know my chances of getting out are fading  away at a lightning  pace and this is a huge fear .              If I make it Through today without submitting to your ruthless persistence  , my gratitude will be my best friend . Not that I should get ahead of myself as I well know your a thief in the night that will turn me into your tramp with just a glance .Well This is all I can summon up today, hopefully I will be able to visit these pages tomorrow and my journey or my escape will still be on track .                                                                                                             Day 3  , here  I be frazeled and a little more fragile than desired , still hanging on for dear life . You were there in my messages  last night ,  tantalizing  me at my weakest hour , demanding of me every ounce of willpower not to reply , as that’s all it takes to be back in your grips . This I know from the depths of my soul , your playground since my adolescences . large chunks of my life you have been front and centre creating havoc , then on the upside I have had large chunks of my life were I have been free of you , for witch I am eternally grateful and also find encouraging  in my present situation . My main dilemma is working out how to stay away I guess .Mind you that is putting the horse in front of the cart . I need to bring it back into the day , this moment as its all I have .  So I prey tonight there is no messages on my phone to tempt me . As I have every reason to ignore you , with all the bad things that have been in the last months , finally is reason to celebrate . I just had no idea that I would be sitting here at this age still battling against my demons .

Klyderscope

image

Kaleidoscope in my hand.
Dazzling with possibilities,
Snowflakes.
multituded maze
of hues
drizzly dancing,
fivoulsly
enticing me deeper
And deeper.

The klidscopes dance,
to forsake all.
Mystery racing,
a day away.
Klyderscope of live.
Brave must only fortake.
No hostages welcome,
The kldyscope , express,,
Endless dizzly colorful hues
The reward.
For a life with out a klyderdcope,
Is untainted,
Useless iin it’s fuitality.

Androgyny for the dolls part 2

image

A androgynous
Gender Neutral

In Androgyny for the dolls part one we looked at androgyny for the dolls. In part 2 were going to have a look at the history of androgyny of the guys .
Will start right back in the 15th century were guys attire was all about tights, pointy black buckled shoes , velvet embellished jackets
and wigs ,well perukes as they were called in the day . They originated out of necessity due to lice and venereal disease syphllius witch left the effected person with red open sores and welts on their head they would cover with powdered wigs . It wasn’t until the king of France followed by the king of England started wearing perukes that the become a sign of prestige and were seen on aristocrats and courtiers heads, also skyrocketing the price and coining the saying ” big wig “. This was to stay the trend until the 17th century.

Jumping right along to 1960’s and guys are wearing tight flares ,beads . Sproocking free love to all that would listen . Setting the stage for the onslaught of the 1970’s Glam rock . 1967 seen Peter Townsend sewing lace into his jackets giving it a feminine touch .

1970’s we were in the midst of a new rage , Glam Rock , It was hedonistic times were the guys weren’t going to be out done buy the dolls the had the highest of platform shoes , peroxide hair , eye liner , there pants tight in velvets, satin ,leopard skin ,Lycra hot pants and fishnet mid rift tops was just the tip of the iceberg .We were in the midst of androgyny and we were taking our Que’s from the rock bands of the days , it wasn’t till the 80’s that the fashion runways and the super models had more influence . In the 70’s our muso’s lead the fashion trends. Bowie was to be a pioneer of Glam Rock with his ultra ego Ziggy Stardust ,with his flamboyant outfits , face paint and outrageous red cropped hair was to push the boundaries . Biographer David Buckley quoted
” David Bowie challenged the core belief of rock music of the day created perhaps the biggest cult in popular culture. My personal opinion pure genius .

Obviously there was so many more in the 1970’s Glam Rock movement just to mention a few that were standouts for me Slade,
Sweet , T Rex, Marc Bolan, Queen and The New York Dolls . That all had there own personal Glam Rock style

Moving right along to the 80’s and we have the New Romantics ,and
New Wave us dolls found ourselves sharing mirrors with the guys there make up perfection . there hair was teased and as high as any dolls and as flammable and the brought a whole new fashion with them, A little reminiscent of the 15th century , lace was huge , the pirate shirt ,scarfs as belts and head wear , baggy pants with boots , embellished jackets were huge and long kaftan jackets , Androgyny had evolved . Boy George was everywhere we looked and he had his own unique look that was quickly taken mainstream , I think were the 70’s set the stage for androgyny 80’s burst into mainstream . I can’t talk 80’s without talking Boy George, with his rag plated hair was a phenomenon his ,unique clothing was most certainly gender neutral and his make up was flawless, Boy George
Take on fashion was quoted ” most fashion is about money I’m not that into it, I’d rather grab anything from a thrift shop or designer in a thrift shop I love a bargain ” I say amen to that ,he also says he was influenced by Bowie and Marc Bolan .
Other musicians under the new romantic/new wave , were Adam Ant , Ultravox , Duran Duran ,Pseudo Echo , and many more

I also have to give mention to the
artist formerly known as prince for his impeccable androgynous dress sense , which existed of beautiful tailored suits, frill shirts jewels , the color purple that soon became a bit of a trademark all this with his effeminate good looks , and wonderful music built his star through the 80’s with a huge fan base that still exists today .

Why I love Androgyny so much ,I love that a guy can look as hot as a doll in a pair of black pants and heels and visa versa a doll can look as hot in a guy suit as a guy.
I also love that it pushes the envelope its a style that's always pushing fashion forward . I love that it challenges a conservative mind .I love the neutralness of it that shows it doesn't really mater either way . Most of all I love it because its sooo god dam hot

Fragments of me

image

Floating fragments of me,
Fractured frivously,
Floating aimlessly
forever.
No destination on the horizon
Infinitely lost on
The sidewalk of life.

For all to see. Floating fragments
Your parting gift, to me.
Floating fragments.
with no place
to Be.
Your parting gift to me
Fragments of me
Drinking fine tea
In a mosiac of me.
Floating fragments.
Fine shattered china.
A mosaic of me
Fragments of me

Seeking poppy’s in dens,
With wide eyed cats,
With lost agendas.
Your gift to me,
Fragments of me.

In arms of gypsy’s
With stange desires
On paths unknown.

Floating fragments of me
for all to see,
your parting gift
To me
Fragments of me.
Floating fragrances of me
Gifts for me.

Bottomless whisky jars
And cigars
In distant places
Pretty strangers
With far away faces,

Floating fragments
For all to see.
Your gift
Pieces of me,
Fragments floating
Pieces of me,
Your gift to me

Forever is floating,
frivously
Fragments of me
Visiting kings and queens
With Courts of their own,
Void of thrones.

Floating fragments of me.
For all to see.
In gardens of weeds
And poppy’s, please
Your gift to be.
Floating fragments of me
for all to see.
Floating fragments
Your gift to me.

Your parting gift to me
Fine tea, shattered china
Whiskey jars and cigars.
On arms of strangers
your gift to me.

Gardens of weeds, ,
And poppy dens,
Pretty strangers,
Wide eyed cats.
On destitute paths.,
Fragments of me
Were gypsy’s gather
In Court’s of kings
And queens,
Thrones. Avoid.

Floating fragments of me.
Fragments of me,
For all to see
Fragments fragments of me
Floating fragments
Frivolously, floating
Fragments of me.
A gift for me
Your parting gift for me.
